The 'Runaway Love' singer gets mobbed by screaming teenage girls wherever he goes ' a reaction dubbed 'Bieber Fever' ' and he claims there is no way his fans can stop themselves.

Justin told BANG Showbiz: 'They may be crazy but they're the ones that help me to be here and who put me where I am in the first place. I never worry about getting more fans as it spreads.

'And, by the way, there is no cure for 'Bieber Fever!' '

The 16-year-old singer also revealed his admirers have gone to extreme lengths in order to meet him, and last year a mother got a tattoo of a radio DJ just so her daughter could meet him.

He added: ''ve done things like signed a cereal box before. But the weirdest thing that's been done to meet me? Well some girls have got tattoos of my name done. One mom has a tattoo of a radio DJ on her back, which she had done in order to meet me.

'The radio station had a contest and if anyone got the guy from the radio station's face tattooed on their back, they could meet me, and that was the contest, and she did it. It was pretty weird!'

Bryan Adams New Delhi show cancelled by authorities

Bryan Adams five-city tour of India was suddenly cut to only four cities after authorities denied him and his promoters the permission needed to hold the show.

Tour promoters Netsurf Entertainment could not get the "No Objection" certificate from the city's police when it appeared that the proper safety precautions had not been taken and that the tickets for the show had been oversold.

A police official is quoted as saying "We have denied permission for the concert because of security concerns. The place chosen to organise the concert is not suitable for this kind of a programme. ... We denied permission for valid reasons. They didn't have the right security or traffic arrangements in place. Law and order would've been a serious issue at this concert."

Adams announced the cancellation himself on his Twitter account, saying "There are so many more people than they expected coming to the show, that they are concerned about security. Police have canceled the New Delhi concert tonight due to public safety."

Blur reveal they have recorded more songs

The 'Parklife' hitmakers ' who reunited for a series of concerts in summer 2009, seven years after they last performed together ' released a one-off single, 'Fool's Day' last April and guitarist Graham Coxon admits they have worked on other tracks, though he is unsure any of them will ever be released.

He said: ' suppose every now and then we like to meet up and record a few things. Whether it sees the light of day or not is a different thing. We just do stuff when we feel like it. I'd quite like to have a bit of time so you can really get stuck in.'

Graham insists he and the rest of the group ' Damon Albarn, Alex James and Dave Rowntree ' are enjoying taking a relaxed approach to creating new tracks as they fear putting pressure on themselves would cause too much tension.

He added: 'All we're doing is getting together every now and then when we really feel the need. We don't feel obliged in that way. That kind of thing f***ed Blur up in the first place ' the obligation, the work. So we don't want to be in the situation where we're not enjoying ourselves.'

Though Graham says the group will 'definitely' release new music in future, fans should expect a long wait.

He said: 'We're going to do it regularly. I suppose it might turn into an LP in six years or something.

'Meeting up every now and then and drinking a lot of nettle tea and maybe turning the tape recorder on and jamming around a few ideas.'

Frontman Liam Gallagher says he was driven to form his new group - featuring ex-Oasis members Andy Bell, Gem Archer and Chris Sharrock ' by a higher power which didn't want him to rest after the breakup of his last band - caused by a fall out with his brother, Noel, the group's songwriter and guitarist.

He explained: 'Look, there's a big f***ing spirit up there. It was in Oasis and now it's in Beady Eye. And it said, 'If you think you're having a year off, you little f***ing p***k, you're tripping. Get out there!'

'And thank f**k for it. We used to speak about Oasis wanting to be the best band in the world. Well, that's how we feel in this. We wanna go round the world. We wanna inspire kids. We wanna play some great f***ing gigs."

Liam also insists fans of his old band will be impressed with Beady Eye's live shows, even though they will not play any material from his former career, and that they are rehearsing hard for their short European tour in March.

He added: 'They're gonna f***ing love it, mate. I know what the fans like. We've got the same DNA. They're gonna dig it, cos we're gonna be on form, man. That's why we're rehearsing like f**k."

The outspoken singer added he's not worried by fans shouting for Oasis songs at the shows, adding: ''ve got a microphone, we've got guitars, we'll drown them out. They can shout what they f***ing want."

Beady Eye's debut album 'Different Gear, Still Speeding' is released on February 28.

Lady Gaga's new single 'Born This Way' is the thousandth single to top the US charts.

The song marks the thousandth single that has hit the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in its 52-year history.

Gaga told Billboard, 't is a tremendous honour. To be the 1000th no. 1 on Billboard... I would be silly not to say this is the greatest honour of my career.'

She continued, ' am so humbled and so honoured and overwhelmed by the reception to 'Born This Way,' [It] has been so life changing for me as an artist, and between Billboard and the international number ones and the radio numbers... I couldn't be more blessed to have the fans that I have.'

The single also scored the largest opening radio airplay audience since Billboard began ranking all radio stations in 1998.

It was also the highest-selling digital single debut for a female artist, accruing 448,000 downloads, and was the third-highest digital debut behind Flo Rida's 'Right Round' and Black Eyed Peas 'Boom Boom Pow'.

Other significant artists to hold numerous number ones include: The Beatles with 20 chart-toppers, Mariah Carey with 18, and Michael Jackson with 13.

Ammon Gilbert,  Feb 18, 2011 Back before the Lethal Weapon series, the Bad Boys movies, or even the Rush Hour franchise entertained audiences worldwide, there was a little movie called 48 Hrs., a film that single-handedly set the bar and coined the phrase "Buddy Cop Movie". Released in 1982, the only other movie like it at the time was In the Heat of the Night, a film that had the buddy but not the funny. By forcing two opposites to work together on a case, the comedy comes from their bickering and their interaction with those around them. 48 Hrs. created the formula that countless of movies have used over the years, and now the film is finally getting the respect it deserves on Blu-ray ... or is it?
Jack Cates (Nick Nolte) is a tough as nails cop on the case of an escaped convict / cop killer who's hiding out in the streets of San Francisco. The only lead he can muster is an old associate of said cop killer, Reggie Hammond (Eddie Murphy), a con who also just happens to be in jail. Jack gets Reggie a "Get out of jail free card" for 48 hours to help Jack track the killer down and bring him to justice.
There's something about Walter Hill's 48 Hrs. that makes it feel nothing short of an American classic. Nick Nolte shines in his usual shtick has a hardass alcoholic, his flowing mop of hair whisping through every scene. In his first big-screen role, Eddie Murphy will remind you why America fell in love with him as Reggie Hammond: a funny, wise-crackin' fly guy with attitude to boot and a heart of gold. He's so young and so good in this, you'll almost forget about Imagine That.
In terms of an '80s action movie, 48 Hrs. has it all: car chases, ruthless badguys, foul language, violent and graphic shoot-outs, gratuitous nudity, and a shoot first, ask questions attitude that we just don't see in mainstream action movies anymore. And while the film hits all the clichéd marks of the Buddy Cop genre, including the hot-tempered police chief who specializes in yelling, it still manages to feel fresh, especially considering that none of it was a cliché upon its release.
A big question when diving into 48 Hrs. is, does it still hold up today? Yes it does. Chalk it up to solid writing and directing, or simply the chemistry between Nolte and Murphy, but the film is just as entertaining and enjoyable now as it ever was. Sure, the racist overtones and full-fledged bigotry wouldn't fly for today's audience, and there are a number of logical flaws that you won't help but scratch your head about (including the whole set up, borrowing an inmate to help solve a crime), but all is forgiven with Murphy's undeniable charm and Nolte's gruff man's man persona.
What isn't forgivable is the Blu-ray itself. The only special feature is the theatrical trailer, the sound is just decent, but nothing more than your standard DVD quality audio, and while the picture quality is solid, it's not spectacular. In other words, it's better than the DVD, but not by much. The only thing "new" this release has to offer is the updated cover art.
The Blu-ray release of 48 Hrs. is about as classic of a re-issue as they get: a solid, groundbreaking movie that remains, to this day, a favorite among '80s action movie aficionados, watered down to a barebones disc with nothing more to offer than the movie itself and a slightly better picture quality. You'd think a commentary track would be in order or a feature about how the film set the bar for every Buddy Cop movie ever made. Alas, this release is only for diehard fans who will own 48 Hrs. no matter what and for those who don't own it on DVD already. Or, in summation: good movie, bad Blu-ray.
